Aghor / Lineage / Org / Founder / Eating / Kreem Kund / Videos
Aghori are disciples of Shiva.Their biggest ashram is in varanasi.Awadhoot Kinaram Ashram Math.Aghori Kinaram is said to be the Reincarnation of Shiva. With number of skulls hanging outside the gate may scare you at first.Going inside you will find many tantrics taking bath in a pond(Kreem Kund). You could see here many yogis and yoginis in the lineage of Kinaram Avadhuta Siddha of Kashi.
Aghora means an easy path, which is not fierce. It is opposite of the ghora, the difficult path.Wood brought from the cremation ground is given as prasad.Skulls are used for drinking of water through it.They cook their food through cremation pyres, sleep on graves.Aughurs are sanyasis which renounce the world and turn its values upside down.
Inside the ashram there is Krim Kund ,the manifest form of Lord Shiva.(Aghora Stahli/sthal/sthul).Dhuni(sacred fire is burning for last 400 years.61 Aughors samadhi shrine exist there. There is a library inside for research of Aghor(Aughar) tradition studies. It is said that aghor studies heal the mind , body and soul.
Bhagwan Dattatreya was the expounder of aghor teachings. But it is different than other studies like vedic studies. There is also a dispensary where medicine according to Aghoreshvars principles are made and distributed. There is a book store outside the Muth(Math). Many books in english and local languages are available.

Kasi Yatra in Marriage / Videos
The groom is dressed in the traditional “Panchakatcham” veshti. He also holds an umbrella, a fan, a walking stick, and a towel containing dhal and rice tied to his shoulder. He then sets off on a mock pilgrimage to pursue further religious studies, and renounce worldly pursuits. As he steps out of the wedding hall, the bride's father intervenes and advocates for the superiority of married life to an ascetic life. He also promises to give his daughter as companion to face the challenges of life. The groom accepts and returns to the mandapam to get married. The umbrella is to remain with the groom, to remind him in the future of this advice.

Origin of Names
The original name of Varanasi was 'Kashi,' derived from the word 'Kasha,' meaning brightness.
It is also known variously as
The name Varanasi has its origin from the names of the two rivers Varuna and Assi, for the old city lies in the north shores of the Ganges bounded by its two tributaries, the Varuna and the Asi( Eigthty Ghats), with the Ganges being to its south. Varanasi is an ancient name found in various Tales and in the epics.
From the pali version of this name-Baranasi-comes the corrupted name Banaras(Bana - Made - Ras - Taste), by which the city is most widely known today. In Muslim and British India, the city was known as "Benares".
